Overview
Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a spectacular trek to the South Face of Annapurna I (8,091m). Offer breathtaking views of the Fishtail Peak-Machhapuchhare (6,993m). Watch a magnificent sunrise over Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna ranges from Poon Hill (3,210m). The peaks Annapurna-III (7,600m) and Annapurna -IV (7,400m) are visible from this point and the gigantic glacier of Machhapuchhare makes its presence felt. Passing through deep forest you will see small temple where local people put offerings of flowers, cloth, and leaves as well. From Himalayan Hotel to Hinko at 3100m it receives name Hinko cave because of huge overhanging rock which gives protection against rain and avalanches. The trail descends to meet the Modi Khola and follows the river to Bagar. From Bagar climb passing through birch forest. Walk through villages, forests and upstream along the Modi Khola into the Annapurna Sanctuary, a valley surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks. You will have easy day for acclimatization is necessary; also a great opportunity for you to enjoy the phenomenal mountain views from here. Other highlights of this trip highlight of this is the spectacular view from Poon Hill (3,210m), considered a photographer\\\'s paradise. This spells the end of the experience of a lifetime, bringing you down to Tirkhedhunga through rice terraces and colorful rhododendron forests and a last chance to admire the beauty and monstrosity of the Annapurna range. You will continue trek to Phedi, from here it is back to Pokhara and a comfortable night\\\'s sleep.
 
Your trekking preparation:
 
This trek is considered as a non-technical trek and suitable for average people. If you are moderately fit and have a sense of adventure will enjoy this trek. The program is designed to acclimatize you gradually and not expected high altitude sickness. However you are requested to check your altitude fitness and the itinerary.
 
We suggest you to strengthen your knee muscles and prepare for several days of steep descents. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, biking or aerobics is recommended, but mostly hiking on steep hills or running up and down steps are preferable.
 
Please note that the following program is prepared in the fact basis however can be change in some circumstances but adjustments will have to made during the trekking. We request you to be flexible with the situation to enjoy yourself. As the trek is designed for camping arrangement, everything is handled by our team of porters, sherpas and cooks who carry the equipment, assemble and dissemble the camp and have hot meals waiting for you at every food break.
 
Any trek in this region is an experience to remember for everyone in lifetime. The famous trekking routes of this region are- Jomsom/Muktinath trail, Annapurna circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Gorepani/Ghandruk loop, Sikles/Lamjung Himal loop, and Upper Mustang. The best time to trek there in Spring and Autumn seasons of the year however some parts can be trek all the year round even in monsoon days and winter.

ABC TREKS: (ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP)
10 DAYS TREKS:

DAY 01: POKHARTA-BIRETHANI-GHANDRUNG:
AFTER BREAKFAST IN HOTEL , DRIVE TO NAYAPOOL.IT TAKES ABOUT AN HOUR DRIVE AND ON ARRIVAL START TGREKKING TOWARDS BIRETHANI FOR ABOUT AN HOUR TREK.COONTINUE TO TREK TOWARDS THE VILLAGE OF GHANDRUNG AT 1951 METERS AND ON ARRIVAL YOU  SEE THE FISHTAIL ANNAPURNA.GANGAPURNA ETC. TODAY'S TREK US AOORIXUNATEKY 06 HOURS.

DAY 02: GHANDRUNG-CHOMRONG:
AFTER BREAKFAST START TREK TO CHOMNONG. ON THE FIRST HALF HOUR IS AN EASY TREKL AND FOLLOW BY ASCENDING UYP TO THE TOP OF KHUMRUNG. AFTER LUNCH CONTINUE CLIMBING UP TO CHOMRONG AT 1950 METERES. FROM  CHOMRONGYOU WILL  SEE A BETTER AND CLOSER VIEW OF FISHTAIL PEAK.TODAY'S TREK IS ABOUT 05 HOURS.

DAY 03: CHOMRONG-DOVAN:
TODAY PROCEED TREKKING TO DOVAN VIA BAMBOO THROUGHT THE BAMBOO, RHODODENDRON AND OAK FOREST. AFTER LUNCH AT BAMBOO, TREK TO DOVAN FROM BAMBOO THE TRAIL CLIMB STEADILY CROSSING THE BAMBOO RIVER AND EVENTUALLY REACHING DOVAN. TODAY'S TREK IS APPROXIMATELY 07 HOURS.

DAY 04 DOVAN- MACHAPURCHARE BASE CAMP:
AFTGERFAST CONTINUE TO TREK THROUHG THE FOREST AND EVENTUALLU TO A ROCKY TRAIL UNTO A STEEP RQAVINE HINKO AT 3000 METERS. THIS IS CALLED HINKO CAVE BECAUSE A HUGE OVERHANGING ROCK THE FORMS HINKO CAVE. AFTER LUNCH A DEURALI PROCEED TO ASCEND UPHILL TOWARDS MACHAPUCHARE BASE CAMP PASSING THROUGH STREAMS AND SPARSE WOOD, A REMAIN OF WHAT USED TO BE A LARGE FOREST. TODAY'S TREK IS ABOUT 08 HOURS.

DAY 05: MACAHPUCHARE BASE CAMP-ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP:
THE ROUTE PASSES A FEW ROOFLESS SHPHERDS HUTS ALONG SIDE A MORAINE TO HOTRELS SITUATED ON A KNOLL.THE AREA IS COLD AND WINDYU AND OFTEN SNOWBOUND. YOU CAN SEE THE TREMENDOUS VIEWS OF THE NEAR VERTICAL SOUTH FACE OF ANNAPURNA THAT TOWERS ABOVE THE SANCTUARY TO THE NORTHWEST. TODAY'S TREK IS APPROXIMATELY 05 HOURS.

DAY 06: ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP-DOVAN.
AFTER BREAKFAST TREK DOWN SLOPE TOWARDS DOVAN FOR APPROXIMATELY 06 HOURS.

DAY 07: DOVAN-CHOMRONG:
RETURN BY THE SAME ROUTE TO CHOMRONG. TODAY'S TREK IS ABOUT 06 HOURS.

DAY 08: CHOMRONG-TADAPANI.
AFTER BREAKFAST START TREK TO TADAPANI AT 2600 METERES PASSING THROUGH THE GURUNG VILLAGE.TODAY'S TREK IS APPROXIMATELY 06 HOURS.

DAY 09: TADAPANI-GOREPANI:
THERE IS A SERIES OF ASCENDING AND DESCENDING TREK LEADING TO BANTHAI.MACHAPUCHARE CAN STILL BE VIEW FROM THE GRASSY KNOLL BEFORE REACHING DEURALI AT 3100 METERES.A FURTHER DESCEND WOULD FINALLY REACH GOREPANNI AT 2800 METERS.TODAY'S TREK IS APPROXIMATELY 06 HOURS.

DAY 10: GOREPANI-POONHILL-BIRETHANI-POKHARA:
WAKE EARLY MORNING FOR A TREK TO POONHILL AT 3200 METERS TO SEE THE BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE AND PANORAMIC VIEW OF THE MOUNTAIN RANGES. AFTER BREAKFAST DESCENDTO NAYAPOOL VIA TIKHEDUNGA AND BIRETHANI.FROM NAYAPOOL DRIVE TO POKHARA FOR OVER NIGHT.TODAY'S TREK IS APPROXIMATELY 08 HOURS.
