Itinerary Options

Day 1: Fly or Drive to Dhangadhi → Transfer to Suklaphanta

  • Morning flight (1 hr) or drive (12–13 hrs) from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi
  • Drive (~2 hrs) to Suklaphanta
  • Check-in at eco-lodge, rest & explore nearby Tharu village
  • Overnight at lodge near Suklaphanta

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Suklaphanta National Park

  • Morning: Jeep Safari in grasslands and sal forests
    • Spot barasingha, spotted deer, elephants, wild boar, and possibly tigers
  • Afternoon: Visit Rani Tal (lake), birdwatching, and scenic rest
  • Evening: Sunset view and cultural Tharu dance (optional)
  • Overnight at lodge

Day 3: Nature Walk and Birdwatching

  • Early morning guided birdwatching tour or nature walk
  • Canoe or Mahakali River visit (if seasonally possible)
  • Leisure time in the afternoon to relax
  • Overnight at lodge

Day 4: Return to Kathmandu

  • After breakfast, transfer to Dhangadhi
  • Fly or drive back to Kathmandu
