Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu → Nepalgunj

  • 1-hour flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj
  • Transfer to hotel, free evening to relax
  • Overnight in Nepalgunj

Day 2: Fly Nepalgunj → Talcha Airport → Trek to Rara Lake (2-3 hrs)

  • Morning 35-min flight to Talcha Airport (Mugu)
  • Easy trek to Rara Lake through pine forest and alpine meadows
  • Explore the lake area and relax
  • Overnight at a lodge near Rara Lake

Day 3: Full Day at Rara Lake

  • Explore around the lake on foot
  • Optional short hikes to nearby viewpoints (e.g. Murma Top)
  • Photography, meditation, or just relaxing by the tranquil lake
  • Overnight at lodge

Day 4: Trek back to Talcha → Fly to Nepalgunj

  • Short morning trek back to Talcha
  • Fly to Nepalgunj and transfer to hotel
  • Overnight in Nepalgunj

Day 5: Fly back to Kathmandu

  • Morning flight to Kathmandu
  • Transfer to hotel or airport (trip ends)
