Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

  • Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Transfer to hotel, trek briefing, gear check. Evening free in Thamel.
    Overnight in Kathmandu (4-star hotel).

Day 2: Kathmandu Preparation Day

  • Meet guide, finalize permits and trek logistics. Optional city sightseeing (Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Durbar Square).
    Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Kathmandu → Lukla Flight (2,800 m) → Phakding (2,652 m)

  • Scenic 40-min flight to Lukla. Begin trek with gradual descent along Dudh Koshi River (3–4 hrs).
    Overnight in Phakding (teahouse).

Day 4: Phakding → Namche Bazaar (3,438 m)

  • Cross suspension bridges, ascend steeply via Hillary Bridge. Enter Sagarmatha National Park (5–6 hrs).

  • Day hike to Khumjung village or Everest View Hotel. Visit Hillary School & Khumjung Monastery.
