Day 01 – Kathmandu → Dhunche / Syabrubesi / Timure

  • Depart Kathmandu by private coach/jeep.
  • Enjoy a scenic drive through winding mountain roads and river valleys.
  • Stop en route for meals and short breaks.
  • Arrive at Dhunche / Syabrubesi / Timure near the Nepal–Tibet border.
  • Check in to a clean guesthouse and rest.
    Meals: Vegetarian lunch & dinner prepared by Nepali staff.
    Overnight: Guesthouse (twin/double sharing, common facilities).

Day 02 – Cross Border → Drive to Kyirong (2,850 m)

  • Complete immigration formalities at the Nepal–Tibet border.
  • Cross into Tibet and continue to the peaceful town of Kyirong.
  • Scenic drive through valleys and forests.
  • Free time to rest and begin light acclimatization.
    Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner (vegetarian).
    Overnight: 3-star hotel in Kyirong.

Day 03 – Acclimatization in Kyirong

  • Spend the day acclimatizing to the higher altitude.
  • Optional light walks and local sightseeing in Kyirong.
  • Group briefing and preparation for the journey ahead.

    Overnight: 3-star hotel in Kyirong.

Day 04 – Kyirong → Saga (4,500 m)

  • Begin a long drive across the Tibetan plateau.
  • Witness wide landscapes, high-altitude lakes, and Himalayan views.
  • Arrive in Saga by evening and check in to hotel.
    Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner (vegetarian).
    Overnight: 4-star hotel in Saga (twin/triple sharing).

Day 05 – Saga → Lake Mansarovar (4,650 m)

  • Drive through vast plains and high passes.
  • Arrive at the sacred Lake Mansarovar, a site of deep religious importance.
  • Perform holy rituals (puja, meditation, or spiritual baths).
  • Enjoy the serene atmosphere with views of Mount Kailash in the distance.
    Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner (vegetarian).

Day 06 – Lake Mansarovar → Darchen (4,650 m)

  • After morning rituals at the lake, drive 35 km to Darchen.
  • Darchen is the base camp for the Mount Kailash Parikrama (Kora).
  • Preparation for the trek: yak arrangement, packing essentials.
    Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner (vegetarian).
    Overnight: Hotel Himalaya or similar in Darchen.

Day 07 – Darchen → Yama Dwar → Trek to Dirapuk (5,050 m)

  • Drive to Yama Dwar, the official starting point of the Kora.
  • Begin trek to Dirapuk Monastery (about 12 km, 5–6 hrs).
  • Stunning views of Mount Kailash’s north face.
  • Rest and prepare for next day’s high pass crossing.
    Meals: Breakfast, packed lunch & dinner (vegetarian).
    Overnight: Basic lodge at Dirapuk (shared mud house, outside toilets).

Day 08 – Dirapuk → Zuthulphuk (4,650 m) via Dolma La Pass (5,630 m)

  • Most challenging and rewarding day of the Kora.
  • Trek across Dolma La Pass (5,630 m), the highest point of the pilgrimage.
  • Stop at Gauri Kunda, a sacred glacial lake.
  • Descend to Zuthulphuk Monastery.
    Meals: Breakfast, packed lunch & dinner (vegetarian).
    Overnight: Basic lodge at Zuthulphuk (shared, outside toilets).

Day 09 – Zuthulphuk → End of Kora → Drive back to Saga (4,500 m)

  • Complete the final stretch of the Kora (about 10 km trek).
  • Board vehicles and return to Saga.
  • Rest after completing the sacred circumambulation.
    Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner (vegetarian).
    Overnight: 4-star hotel in Saga.

Day 10 – Saga → Kyirong (2,850 m)

  • Retrace the journey through the Tibetan plateau.
  • Arrive in Kyirong and rest.
  • Free evening for light exploration or rest.
    Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner (vegetarian).
    Overnight: 3-star hotel in Kyirong.

Day 11 – Kyirong → Kathmandu (1,400 m)

  • Cross the Nepal–Tibet border after immigration formalities.
  • Drive back to Kathmandu through scenic valleys and riverside roads.
  • Arrive in Kathmandu by evening, concluding your Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
    Meals: Breakfast & lunch (vegetarian).
    Overnight: Tour ends.
